TV Shoot Photos: Willie Wisely Trio on “MN Originals”

Pre-recorded live performance to air in April 2012 on PBS affiliate.

"MN Originals" shoot

At TPT studios in St. Paul, shooting "MN Originals"

Big thanks to Twin Cities Public Television and “MN Originals” for shooting the WW3’s in-studio performance last week. The crew worked long past quitting time, perfectly choreographing those cameras. The episode will air in spring 2012. We took what was probably 5-7 takes of each song, performing live. More nerve wracking than you might think, with camera’s in your face. The big surprise was how exhausting it was to keep redoing your best performance. Felt like I’d run a few miles.

Thanks from all four of us in the Trio (Peter Anderson, James Voss, Greg Wold, Willie Wisely) to everyone who brought their considerable talents to bear:

Dan Huiting (Director of Photography)
Joe Demko and Mitch Griffin (Audio Engineers)
David Roth (Producer)
Kate McDonald (Associate Producer)
Mike Phillips (camera operator)
Lisa Johnson (Floor Director/Audio)
Tom Franchett (Lighting Director)
David Bales (Lighting Assist)
Brittany Shrimpton (set AP)
Ashleigh Rowe (series producer)
Theresa Phung (intern)

A special acknowledgement to Ezra Gold. Few have believed in us more than you!
